Volunteer/ Intern with Us

If you are looking for volunteering or internship opportunities read on! These opportunities are open from high school level onwards, young-old, student-working, on a break-retired!

Volunteering at the Kriti team
We offer exciting volunteering opportunities to high school and college students, young professionals and anybody else keenly interested in social, development, environment, and human rights issues. The nature of these volunteering opportunities could be:
  • Organising documentary film screenings and facilitation
  • Social media outreach and networking
  • Cataloguing of Kriti Film Club resources
  • Research
  • Fund raising
  • Illustration, Designing and Communication support
  • Cataloguing and outreach of books, resistance music and films at the Docushop
  • Photography and outreach of eco-friendly and community made products by women’s and children’s groups – as part of Gestures, a livelihoods initiative
  • Helping hand at festivals and other events
  • Inhouse visual documentation and short films
  • Sales of community made products (www.gestures.in)
  • Filing or other coordination work that may be required within the team
Through the above opportunities, we focus on consciousness raising, knowledge and skill building in our volunteers so that the experience adds to their personal and professional capabilities. Our volunteers get the opportunity to deeply understand development and human rights issues in a space that allows for creative learning pursuits, working independently, learning new skills, gaining networking opportunities with peer organisations and events in the city, apart from a volunteer certificate upon successful completion of assigned tasks.

Internships with the Kriti team
We offer a structured three-month internship programme designed to provide exposure to diverse threads of development thought and human rights action. This would be planned around one or more of our programmes or initiatives. https://krititeam.blogspot.in/p/about-us.html
